Location: American Health Network, a Part of Optum: 680 Buckles Court North Suite 100 Gahanna, OH 43230

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

Position Highlights & Primary Responsibilities

• Prepares patient and treatment rooms; sterilizes medical equipment
• Rooms patients, obtains health history, and measures and documents vital signs (pulse rate, temperature, blood pressure, height, weight)
• Documents patient care and medical history using NextGen electronic medical record (EMR) software
• Assists physicians with minor, in-office procedures
• Schedules appointments, completes prior authorizations, processes medication refills, handles referrals, answers calls and completes necesary paperwork
• Performs CLIA waived testing
• Administers injections or treatments and performs routine laboratory tests
• Maintains all Practice Health and Safety Standards

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• Active, unrestricted LPN license in the state of Ohio
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• CPR certification
• Experience working as an LPN in a primary care setting
• Experience with NextGen or other electronic medical records (EMR) software
• Experience performing medical back-office tasks including injections/immunizations, phlebotomy, urinalysis, and administering medications
• Experience performing medical front-office tasks including scheduling appointments, prior authorizations, medication refills, and referrals
  
  

The hourly range for this role is $19.86 to $38.85 per hour based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
