Position Description

Registered Nurse - PRN (as need, minimum of 12 hours every 2 weeks)

Vascular Access Team (IV Team)

Shift: variable evenings and nights

Current: RN Experience in, IV Team, ICU or ED

Providing high quality vascular access services to infants, children and adults. Responsible for peripheral line insertions, central line dressing changes, CL de-clotting, and port accessing on Med-Surg, Telemetry and Pediatrics. We also respond to OP areas including ER, Endo, Radiology, and Pre-op as well as the ICU's when our specialty is needed.

The Registered Nurse (RN) provides patient-centered care through the nursing process of assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation. The RN collaborates with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure effective patient care and desired outcomes, while maintaining a supportive and compassionate environment for patients and their families.
